Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales Support Representative to become the operational backbone of our insurance and financial services team.

This role exists for one primary purpose help our sales producers sell more by removing administrative work from their plate.

You will support our Insurance and Financial Services Representatives by handling service requests, policy changes, application processing, follow-up tasks, miscellaneous quotes, documentation, and other administrative responsibilities that allow our producers to spend more time generating revenue and building client relationships.

In return, you will participate in the success you help create through a compensation structure that includes both base pay and performance-based commission and bonus sharing.

What You'll Do

Sales Support & Operations

  • Process policy changes and service requests
  • Prepare and submit insurance applications
  • Assist with life insurance and financial services paperwork
  • Handle underwriting follow-up requirements
  • Generate miscellaneous insurance quotes
  • Review applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Track pending business and outstanding requirements
  • Assist with client onboarding and policy implementation
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal team members
  • Maintain accurate CRM and customer records
  • Support agency marketing and retention initiatives as needed
Team Support

  • Keep producers organized and moving efficiently
  • Help identify bottlenecks in the sales process
  • Follow up on outstanding customer needs
  • Ensure a smooth handoff between sales and service
  • Act as a problem solver for operational challenges

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer experience.
  • Previous experience in customer service or account management preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain applicable state insurance licenses.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Positive, team-first attitude
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems
Preferred

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Administrative or operations experience
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • State Farm experience is a plus, but not required
